We are the Robinsons, the faces behind Robinson Acres.
We are a small, in-home breeder, dedicated to breeding puppies with a healthy legacy and great temperaments. We lovingly raise the puppies in our home, along with the help of our 2 girls (15 & 12), using a combination of Puppy Culture & the BAB program!
The Breed
What is an Australian Labradoodle?
A spin off from the original Labradoodle, Australian Labradoodles are different and despite the name, this breed does NOT contain Australian Shepherd. In the late 1980’s, the two founders of the Australian Labradoodle as we know it today, began carefully infusing several other breeds into early generations of their Labradoodles, to improve temperament, coat, conformation, and size. The infused breeds include Irish Water Spaniel as well as the American and English Cocker Spaniel and in some lines the Wheaten Terrier. The resulting Australian Labradoodles subsequently have been bred to each other, continuing the multi-generational tradition without ever having to go back to the parent breed of the Labrador or Poodle. If you have allergies or maybe you just don't want to deal with the hairy mess all over your house/clothes...you are sure to fall in love with this loyal, playful, intelligent & gorgeous breed!

Here at Robinson Acres Doodles we do extensive genetic & health testing on all of our parents to ensure we are breeding quality companions for your family! All of our puppies have a 2 year health guarantee. If you keep it on the food we recommend, we will extend guarantee to 3 years.
A Furever Friend
The even temperament of the Multi-Generational Australian Labradoodles make them excellent candidates to become service dogs and is also a big part of what makes them exceptional family pets. Not only are they low/NO shedding but they also don't get 'smelly' like most other dogs!!! ALDs are people-focused dogs with exceptional eye contact and a desire to please. They are loyal, playful, cuddly & easily-trained.
Here at Robinson Acres, we strive to raise empowered puppies:
- We raise our puppies in the loving environment of our home & use a combination of Puppy Culture and BAB.
- We implement early neurological stimulation for the 1st 2 weeks of life & then we move to more progressive stimulation & desensitization.
- We introduce them to a variety of textures, smells, sounds, etc.
- We socialize the puppies
- We litter train the puppies beginning at 3.5-4 weeks
- We introduce them to their crate to make for an easier transition to their new home!
Using the Puppy Culture and BAB programs has consistently proven to create calmer puppies with better temperaments.
At 6 weeks of age, we have a 'puppy party' for the families with deposits. This is when families come to visit & pick out their top 3 choices. (If out of town/state, we can face-time)
It is important to understand that choosing a companion is more than choosing by color/sex. We want to make sure the temperament is a match for the family/lifestyle as well. What we can guarantee you is that no matter which beautiful pup you are paired with, you will have years of loyalty, snuggles, love, and companionship!
